How we make these
You deserve to know exactly where your lessons come from. Here is the whole process, plainly.
1. AI drafts every lesson and puzzle
Each lesson, puzzle and series starts as a draft written with AI (Anthropic's Claude), following a detailed brief: the Bible passage, the age group, and our written standard for what an excellent lesson looks like. Puzzle grids and mazes are built by our own software.
2. Software checks every item
Before anything can be published, automated checks must pass. They:
- Check every Bible verse word for word against the complete public-domain text of the World English Bible or King James Version. One wrong word, and it doesn't publish.
- Measure the reading level of the script and questions against the age group.
- Make sure every craft material is listed and every listed material is used.
- Prove that every word search word appears exactly once, every maze has exactly one path, and every trivia answer is in the verse it cites.
- Flag topics where churches differ (like baptism, communion or the end times) so the lesson either avoids them or tells kids to talk with their church leaders.
- Catch brand names, invented quotes and anything that pressures a child.
- Render the PDF and confirm nothing is cut off and the previews match the real pages.
3. A separate AI reviewer scores it
A second, independent AI reviewer, which has not seen the drafting, solves every puzzle and question itself, then reads the passage and every printed page. It scores the item against our written rubric covering faithfulness to Scripture, nondenominational care, age fit, teaching value, safety and design. Only items rated Exceptional are published. Everything else is fixed or rewritten and reviewed again.
What we don't do
We don't claim things that didn't happen. Our lessons are not reviewed by a pastor or a human editor, and they have not been tested in a classroom by us. We don't publish reviews, testimonials or usage numbers we can't verify. If you find a mistake, please tell us: we fix it and add it to the checks so it can't happen again.
As with any curriculum, please read a lesson before you teach it and adapt it for your church.
